"Just wanted to pass along my thanks for your efforts on the
Internet project! The page views and visits to date speak for
themselves
-- the new site you worked on is being used, and this was time
well spent! Great job on this!"

Writing for the Internet
Good Web-site writing will stop visitors in their tracks. Web-site writing is about immediate persuasion. All the cool graphics in the world will not convert browsers into customers. People visit your web site because they already have an interest in your industry or field.
So web writing is like writing for the Yellow Pages. You need to give people what they are already looking for. Your web pages should answer the unmet needs of your visitors. Period. If your current site does not meet that standard, you're going to lose opportunities.
If your site merely shows pictures and specifications, you're
forfeiting the persuasive power of the web to your competitors.
Remember, if a prospect is seeking you out on the web, it's almost
certain that he or she will browse the competition, too. You need to
tell a better story or you lose.
We've written hundreds of web pages of all kinds, from heavy
industrial sites to breezy consumer sites, from health care to
social services to financial and investment products.
